»Sovereign«

Good old metal remastered and reissued. I can’t really tell how classic but I can certify how metal, dark, properly evil-ish and so on as usual, or as acclaimed by its fans at least. Good points, clear titles: »An Offering«, »Prayer«, »Flood«, »Misgiven« … says it all. Some experimentalia, a couple of hazardous lengths and tentative forms, odd mixes, too, let you dive into their black forest (not bush); once more I strangely found metal to be quite maternal, or »positively« regressive (sometimes even anal, sure). Nice move.
