An artwork drawing you mind to an halt, somewhere in between David Lynch, some video games and a little manga touch, all on digipack (by Eric Perez). I really like the label’s »resonnance« actually, ohmresistance is a good name. Opening it I see some names I can recognize too: Bill Laswell, Robert Musso, Submerged … Hard to file but pretty good to listen too, metal guitars, U2 lyrical-like synths lines, a very serious recording and an international class rate mix. It’s more or less the sound you wanted to hear fifteen years ago or so when you went to London’s Rough Trade store in the basement of that sportswear shop upstairs in Soho. Nothing less but nothing more. Absolutely fine if that’s what you liked already.
