Schon seit Mitte der 1990er-Jahre machen Renate Obermayer und Ernst Schriefl alias Duo Kaleidoscope (vormals Kon-Fusion) gemeinsam Musik. Aus irgendeinem Grund kam es trotz langjähriger Zusammenarbeit, unzähligen gemeinsamen Auftritten und jeder Menge Songmaterial erst kürzlich zum Debütalbum des Folk-Duos, lakonisch »I« betitelt.
