We’re more than happy to present TH da Freak at Venster99! A five-piece from Bordeaux playing proto-grunge/alt-rock headed by Thoineau Palis. Having released a 14 solo albums in 8 years, #15 is a full band effort and a full blow to the face.

In thoineau’s own words:

“I tried to recreate the fun and rawness of the Butthole Surfers with the depth and beauty of Failure.”

This is right down our alley: Dissonant tones, surreal lyrics, catchy hooks and a full-length that deserves the label “all killer, no filler”.

Equally honoured we are to welcome 𝗦𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲 to the line-up. What started as a bedroom project by Elle Heedles is now a full band. Their album “Gift Horse” is, in our humble opinion, one of the best releases from Vienna in recent years.

If you’re any familiar with the Viennese emo/(post-)hardcore scene, you will recognise those 3 faces.
