Sun Kil Moon is the current project of San Francisco, California-based singer-songwriter Mark Kozelek, best known for his previous band, Red House Painters. Sun Kil Moon challenges the notion that life imitates art. In the curious case of Mark Kozelek, life is art. His stream-of-consciousness folk narratives and nylon-stringed guitar meanderings make Sun Kil Moon an unnerving, funny, heart-rending and always brutally honest experience.
