GISCHT
Ursula Winterauer alias GISCHT lebt und arbeitet als Komponistin, elektronische Musikproduzentin und Kuratorin in Wien. Ihre eklektischen Soundscapes liefern differenzierte Interpretationen der Genres Industrial, Techno und Ambient, die mittels Bassgitarre, Synthesizer und Elektrosmogwolken reflektiert werden. Ihre Arbeiten setzen sich mit rohen und brutalen Klängen in digitaler Überbestimmheit auseinander, die mit dem klaren Charakter der eigenen Stimme kontrastiert werden. Sie ist Bassistin der Doom-Metal Band Eaeres und Teil des Duos The Answer is No mit Maja Osojnik. Winterauer arbeitet als Sounddesignerin und Komponistin für Film und entwickelt Kompositionen für zeitgenössischen Tanz, ist Mitbegründerin und Labelchefin von Ventil Records, Co-Organisatorin und Kaufmännische Leitung des Unsafe+Sounds Festivals und Kuratorin von New Salt – Festival for sonic exploration & digital art.

DANIEL LERCHER
‚Lisa 4‘: in this performance Daniel Lercher works with the projection of a digital oscilloscope, through which so-called Lissajous figures and other visualizations of the sound plane are depicted. The geometric figures are generated from the sound plane by superimposing different forms of vibration on two axes (x,y). The sounds come from a laptop and range from simple sine tones to noise.

Daniel Lercher was born in Judenburg in 1983 and now lives in Vienna as a musician, composer and sound artist. He completed the course for computer music and electronic media at the Institute for Composition and Electroacoustics here between 2004-2007. Since 2008 he has been active in the fields of electroacoustic composition/improvisation, live electronics, phonography, installations, music for dance and film, among others. His list of activities includes numerous concerts, installations and residencies on four continents. He collaborates with numerous national and international musicians and artists from various disciplines. To date, more than 20 recordings have been released with his participation or with him as a solo artist.
