DJ Krush

1962 in Tokio geboren. Begnadeter Produzent und DJ mit einem erstklassigen Gespür für Mixing und das Komponieren seines Sounds, der in der internationalen Clubszene gefeiert wird. Krush begann seine Solokarriere im Jahr 1992 und erregte bald Aufmerksamkeit als erster DJ, der Turntables als Live-Instrument einsetzte.
DJ Krush veröffentlichte 1994 sein erstes Album „Krush“, dem insgesamt acht weitere Alben, ein Mix-Album und zwei Self-Remix-Alben folgten. Derzeit ist er an über 30 Orten im Jahr auf Welttournee. 2017 hat Krush ein Album mit japanischen Rapper_innen und 2018 ein Instrumentalalbum veröffentlicht.
Im Jahr 2019 veröffentlicht Krush jeden Monat einen Track. Krush ist immer noch auf der Suche nach einem neuen Sound.

This year marks the 30th anniversary of my solo career.
About 35 years ago, I started DJing on the streets of Tokyo with a group of breakdancers.
I met Keith Haring there and he told me, „Keep doing your thing!“
With these words, I have been paving the way, running through the world passionately.
Looking back over the past 30 years, so much has happened, and I have met many artists, worked with them, and released albums.
I have been able to tour the world every year, visiting over 50 countries and bringing my sound directly to my fans.
I have been able to continue as a DJ for 30 years thanks to all of my fans who support me and all of the staff around the world who work behind the scenes to help me out.
I am very grateful.
