D. Lain creates music that blends emotional depth with sonic innovation, embodying the conscious embrace of vulnerability as strength. Drawing from alternative and experimental styles, D. frequently pushes the boundaries of traditional song structures, transforming complex psychological themes into unconventional soundscapes. D. has been shaping music and sound art with a background in film and philosophy, which adds a cinematic quality and a distinctive storytelling approach to the work.

Nana Dahlin (Experimental/Folk)

Nana Dahlin, born 1992 in Denmark, has a background in Fine Arts, sculpture. The act of sculpting is also important to her musical work, not least to her love for melody making. Nana Dahlin unironically plays with the “catchiness” of a pop tune yet stays challenging and undefinable in terms of genre.
The singing voice remains the protagonist throughout her own compositions as well as her rearrangements of others, drawing on her fascination for northern traditional folk singing and Gregorian chanting.

Operating from Vienna since 2014, Winkelschleifer is what comes out when you combine an interest in timbrally and rhythmically unique textures with an openness to embrace improvisation, and, yes, instrumental chaos. When sounds are explored, intution leads the way. Since guitar and electronics, some of which are home-made, are key elements, Maurizio Massaro follows trails blazed by experimentalists of different schools, always striving to create emotional resonance.
