Talk About Georgia – Dance in Solidarity with the Georgian People

A concert and evening in solidarity with the Georgian People. Winds Movement for Change will host a panel discussion and art installation (by Ketevan.space). Afterwards we will hit the dance floor with Kordz, Ësenaim, Achronon and Jerrieone (TOGA). All proceeds of the event will be donated to Winds Movement for Change. Georgian inspired Food served by Esskapade.

Lineup:

Kordz (GEO) : Petrushka or Daft Punk, Prince or Ravel: the composer Alexandre Kordzaia aka kordz finds his inspiration wherever music happens. To call him a crossover musician for this reason would be a mistake, however. He is much more of an all-over musician. Kordz appears both as a composer and as a performer. In Georgia he is known for his danceable live sets and his exciting collaborations with the country’s renowned orchestras.

Ësenaim (FR-ALG/IT): Fresh from their debut album release TALK ABOUT, Ësenaim are two Doctors Without Borders (MSF) field workers telling stories of forgotten places around the world with heavy bass, poetry and visuals.

Achronon evokes the quality of time-freedom, inviting listeners into effortless flow. The project by Christophe Novak — incubated in Luxembourg and fine-tuned in Vienna — explores the fusion of mind and music within loop-based electroacoustic ecosystems.

Miyami (GEO) is iarigby’s new project, created to explore heavier dissonance. Delivering abrasive and gritty rhythms to the floor, she nudges the crowd to uncover curiosity in movement.

TOGA: Tanz oder gar nicht- short TOGA – is a culture association from Vienna. Bringing people together and centered around creativity and togetherness. Dancing, cooking, Saunieren, whatever it is TOGA stands for good times, and moments worth sharing.
